Η Λούσι Ρόουλαντ είναι λογοθεραπεύτρια και συγγραφέας παιδικών βιβλίων. Από πολύ μικρή ηλικία απολάμβανε να διαβάζει και να ακούει ποίηση. Ως συγγραφέας παιδικών βιβλίων, λατρεύει να δημιουργεί ιστορίες με μοναδικούς χαρακτήρες, ξεκαρδιστικές σκηνές και ακαταμάχητη ομοιοκαταληξία. Της αρέσει, επίσης, να ταξιδεύει, να μαγειρεύει, να κάνει βόλτες στη θάλασσα, αλλά και το μπάντζι τζάμπινγκ! LUCY ROWLAND grew up in Cheltenham and now works as a children's speech and language therapist in London. She has a great passion for travel and her many trips include backpacking around South and Central America, Indonesia, Asia and Southern Africa. The Birthday Invitation is Lucy's second book for Bloomsbury. Her first, Gecko's Echo, was published in February 2016. LAURA HUGHES is an exciting young London-based illustrator. Originally from Bath, she studied illustration at Kingston University and, since graduating, she has created artwork for children's books, cards, stationery and homewares.
