Συγγραφέας

Maurice Hamilton has been a motor sport fan since the age of seven and has covered Formula 1 as a freelance writer since 1977. Maurice has attended more than 500 Grand Prix, and worked as motor sport correspondent for The Guardian, The Independent and The Observer and as a commentator and summariser for BBC radio's Grand Prix coverage between 1989 and 2010. The author of more than 20 books, Hamilton writes for motor sport magazines and websites across the world, including regular blogs for ESPN F1. His in-depth interviews in F1 Racing magazine with motor sport's leading lights are keenly anticipated every month. He is the Formula 1 correspondent for TalkSport Radio. The Ayrton Senna Institute was founded by Ayrton's family shortly after his death in 1994. Ayrton had been keen to formulate a plan to help underprivileged Brazilian children, believing in the importance of providing them with food, healthcare and a solid education. The Ayrton Senna Institute has identified problems and developed solutions that have assisted more than two million children, young people and teachers throughout his homeland. A portion of this book's proceeds will go towards funding the foundation's future work and endeavours. More books by Maurice Hamilton
