Συγγραφέας

Η Χρυσάνθη Καραΐσκου γεννήθηκε και εργάζεται στον Έβρο. Αποφοίτησε από το Παιδαγωγικό Τμήμα Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων. Από το 2000 βρίσκεται στη δημόσια εκπαίδευση. Ασχολήθηκε ιδιαίτερα με τη λαϊκή παράδοση του τόπου μας. Η εργασία της σε σχολεία των Χανίων και του Έβρου, αποτέλεσε την αφορμή για την καταγραφή παραδοσιακών παραμυθιών αλλά και παιχνιδιών τόσο από τα μέρη όπου δίδαξε όσο και από την υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα. Έλαβε μέρος σε προγράμματα θεατρικής αγωγής καθώς και περιβαλλοντικά. Έχει εκδώσει τα παρακάτω βιβλία: "Ελληνικά παραδοσιακά παραμύθια Α και Β τόμος", τα "100 παραδοσιακά παιχνίδια", "Η Πούλια και ο Αυγερινός", "Ο Σπανός και ο Δράκος", "Ο Δεκατρής", και "Η Κυρα-Καλή και οι δώδεκα μήνες" από τις εκδόσεις "Διάπλαση".
